Browser Extentions

Bowser extensions provide links to accessible electronic content while browsing.
We recommend the use of Unpaywall or LibKey Nomad.

Unpaywall

Unpaywall
Browser: Chrome, Firefox

Get the full text of scientific articles as you browse. When you view a research article, Unpaywall automatically searches for a copy in its index of 20 million free, legal, full-text PDFs. Unpaywall directs you to legal, author-published manuscripts hosted on university and government web servers. They link to versions that have been published with the full and explicit authorisation of the publishers themselves.

We recommend Unpaywall to anyone who does not have remote access to HSLU or Uni/PH E-Resources.

How Unpaywall works

If Unpaywall finds such a PDF, click on the green icon to read the article.
