Starting your research

In our main catalogue swisscovery RZS you will find all the collections of various university libraries as well as from a number of special libraries.

We offer three different views of our catalogue, each of which is optimised for the needs of a specific user group:

  • swisscovery RZS – Uni/PH for members of the University of Lucerne and for the libraries of the Universities of Teacher Education (UTE) from Lucerne, Schwyz and Zug
  • swisscovery RZS – HSLU for members of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts
  • swisscovery RZS for a all of our users and those of the special libraries

If you would like to include other university libraries from all over Switzerland in your search, we recommend a search on the national swisscovery platform, which brings together the collections of over 500 libraries from all over Switzerland in one search interface.

Other library catalogues extend swisscovery through additional institutions and special collections. Some of them do not offer an English interface.
