Publishing a Dissertation

There are various ways to fulfil the obligation to publish a dissertation. The respective study regulations and guidelines of the relevant college/university apply:

• Faculty of Theology
• Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
• Faculty of Law
• Faculty of Economics and Management
• Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine
• Faculty of Behavioural Sciences and Psychology

• Monographic dissertation with first publication via LORY: Open Access
• Monographic dissertation with first publication via publisher printed and/or electronic: Closed or Open Access, a second publication on LORY is desired.

• Cumulative dissertation with first publication of the framework publication and the published articles on LORY in Open Access
• Cumulative dissertations whose publication obligation is fulfilled via submission of physical copies in the library

A consent form from the authors is required for the first publication of the dissertation.
