The Central and University Library (ZHB) located in the Uni/PH building offers a library introduction approximately twice a year for administrative and technical staff of the University of Lucerne. The aim of this event is to familiarise staff with the services provided by the ZHB and to offer useful information for both their daily work and private visits to the library.
The introduction consists of a presentation and a guided library tour. The presentation covers essential information about the institution as well as topics such as searching for literature, e-media, and other areas relevant to administrative and technical staff (e.g. semester apparatuses or subject). Afterwards, a guided tour of the ZHB premises at the Uni/PH location introduces the facilities and procedures important for using the library.
