Returning Media

Items from the ZHB sites as well as from the Pedagogical Media Centre (PMZ) and Kooperative Speicherbibliothek Schweiz (external storage library) may be returned to these libraries, regardless of where they were borrowed. You may hand them in at the information desk or put them in the return boxes.

This rule applies to the following types of media: books, CDs, DVDs and CD-ROMs. Educational games, media boxes and technical devices are excluded. Please return those items to the respective information desks.

It is possible to return items by parcel post. We recommend registered mail.

The date of return is the date of arrival at the respective library. The library accepts no responsibility or liability for delays or losses.

Media which have been ordered via SLSP courier may be returned at the library from which the item was collected or at any other library which is connected to the SLSP courier (recognisable by the note: Courier Service: √).

Media ordered via interlibrary loan must be returned to the library from which the item was collected.
