Due to staffing restrictions, until further notice the multipurpose room is only available to rent during library opening hours.

We cannot provide any additional services such as technical support.

The room can only be accessed with a key via the staff entrance, as it is in the private area of the library building. Your own contact person will be given a key and is responsible for coordinating attendee access. The doors to the private area of the library must not be obstructed or left open. The key is collected and returned at the information desk in the catalog room.

Max. number of people and seating:

  • 11 tables and 56 chairs

You will need to set up the room yourself with the tables and chairs provided.


  • 1 digital flipchart (mobile)
  • 1 projector and screen (fixed)
  • 2 magnetic whiteboards (fixed)
  • 1 flipchart (mobile)

Rental costs:

  • Whole day (10 hrs) = 600.00 CHF
  • Half day (5 hrs) = 350.00 CHF
  • Quarter day (2.5 hrs) = 200.00 CHF
